Conventions of an ident

1) The bold title which is seen as the primary form of text that has been implemented into the ident itself which also serves as presenting the name of the channel 'Blaze' so this of course is a convention of an ident. The ident usually refers to a specific programme that it may be relating to, Blaze decided to replace their programme-based idents with a series of scenes, this means that this ident does not relate back to a specific programme.

2) The logo is also seen within the ident which also supports the idea that logos are also a key element to idents.

3) The ident is used for the now and next between the intervals of programmes.

4) The main continuity that all the idents for Blaze share are that they all have the titles which pop up in every ident that Blaze has showcased.
