what is the channel?

Dave is a British free-to-air TV channel which mainly broadcasts comedy as well as some factual programmes. Some programmes that Dave broadcasts are Top gear, Bangers and Cash and Border force America's Gatekeepers.

Target audience 
 The target audience for the TV channel Dave is mainly young males between the age of 16-34, however females make up quite a significant contribution to the total amount of users with them making up about 40% of the audience for Dave.
 
what is the message trying to project?

Dave broadcasts comedy meaning that the main message that it would be aiming to project to its audience would be to provide content that makes their audience laugh, Dave is portrayed to be " the home of witty banter".

 This particular ident represents an aspect of the comedic side to Dave as chickens are known to make noises in the morning as well as alarm clocks as they wake people up in the morning and can be annoying to hear constantly meaning that they both share the same aspect regarding disturbing people in the mornings.

This ident refers to the idea of people using an older form of transportation which was used in the past before cars were a thing and the idea of the clamp on the horse shows audiences that cars and horses serve the same purpose however this is done in a way to make their audience laugh, backing up the idea of Dave being a comedy channel.

Blaze is a TV channel which is owned by A&E and is a joint venture between A&E networks and Sky group. Blaze shows programmes related to aliens, conspiracy and challenge etc, some examples are UFO hunters, ancient aliens and conspiracy files unsealed.

Target audience

The main target audience for the channel Blaze are people who have an interest in unexplainable occurrences that continue to be investigated today as well as people who are interested in aliens themselves and may want to learn more about them.

what is the message?

The message that the channel Blaze is trying to project is that some things that have occurred throughout history are significant to humanity and can't be explained or are still being investigated by experts who may have spent their lives studying about these things and still haven't got the answer that they have been looking for.

Blaze's idents vary based on the main programme that will be shown within a specific week, this particular ident relates to Blaze's ' UFO week' this is due to the fact that the ident contains multiple UFOs abducting humans this relates to the ideas that people have had that aliens exist and have had encounters with humanity.

Blaze's idents all relate to the topic of the programmes that they show mainly if they have weeks where they show programmes related to one specific topic this is to ensure that their audiences know what they will be showing and prepare for the programmes.
