production journey
production journey
During the first stage of creating my TV ident I began the process of filming my ident which did take a decent amount of time to complete this was due to the fact of there not being 100% availability of the space that I chose to film my ident this caused a delay in regards to being able to complete my ident despite this during the given time that I had to film my ident I focused on getting the beginning of the ident done in a short period of time this was so that I had more time to focus on the main part of the ident itself which included 2 actors participating in the production of the ident itself. There were complications in regard to the fact there was disturbance in the background of the area which I had used to film my ident due to the background noise which limited the initial success of the ident which I hoped for.
Once I had completed the filming stage of the ident I then moved onto editing the filming that had been recorded which mainly was focused towards cutting the length of the entire filming down to ensure it was 1 minute as I exceeded the initial 1 minute time period of which the ident was meant to last, from there I moved onto working on parts of the ident that didn't really flow properly with the rest of the ident so I fixed that issue by cutting the parts that wouldn't prove to be needed with the rest of the footage, once this was done I then went through the entire ident to see if there were any areas that would need to be fixed or taken out if they did not sync in well with the rest of the ident. The main issue that I faced when it came to filming related to the fact that there was background noise that was a disruption to the success of the filming of the ident itself.
I then moved onto presenting the ident to a set audience this was useful as it provided a clear image in regard to the areas of my ident which could be improved on, this was mainly in response to the fact of there needing to be music added to the ident in order to liven up the atmosphere of the ident itself and the dialogue in the ident needing to be louder, in response to this the fact that there was background noise disturbing the conversation taking place in the ident and therefore seemed to make it hard for the audience to clearly hear the conversation.
